Burglary Suspect Gets 10 Year Prison Sentence

(Memphis) A Memphis man with a lengthy criminal past learned he will spend the next 10 years in prison Monday.

Lorenzo Spencer, 50, who already has 10 prior felonies and eight misdemeanors was convicted in January on Aggravated Burglary charges after he was caught breaking into a vacant home in the 600 block of Estridge in the Berclair area.

Prosecutors said it only took jurors a few hours to return a guilty verdict in the case.
