You can now start filing your taxes.

The date was pushed back because of the so-called fiscal cliff negotiations.

The bill that was passed earlier this month included some changes to the tax code which the IRS had to update in its system.

The agency said that more than 120 million households should be able to file their tax returns today.

The filing deadline is April 15, which falls on a Monday this year.
