(Mississippi) The Mississippi House has voted to block public access to information about state-issued permits for people to carry concealed weapons.

The bill now moves to the Senate for more debate.

The bill was brought up after lawmakers raised concerns that people should know if any of their neighbors have concealed-carry permits.

The National Rifle Association supports the bill.
