More Suspicious Fires in South Memphis

(Memphis)  Investigators with the Memphis Fire Department are looking into a pair of suspicious house fires that broke out early Tuesday in the same South Memphis neighborhood.

The first fire broke out just before 1 a.m. in the 200 block of Gaston Ave. at Latham St.

The second started about 15 minutes later a few blocks away at South 4th St. and McLemore Ave.

Both houses were vacant.There were no injuries as a result of either fire.

These fires happened in the same general area where there was a rash of similar fires in the summer of 2012.
