(Marston, MO) A Memphis businessman has won $4.2 million in the Missouri lottery.

51-year-old Bill Gano purchased a quick pick ticket for the Missouri Lotto game at a Marston gas station last month.

Gano claimed the prize on Wednesday with his oldest daughter.

He opted for the lump sump payment worth $2.1 million before taxes.

Gano plans to help his mother pay off her mortgage and will help others through his church.

He owns his own company and has no plans to retire.

Gano has two daughters.
