Oxford, MS–Ole Miss led Vanderbilt for over 59 minutes…but it was that final minute that cost the Rebels a chance to become bowl eligible.

Vandy’s Jordan Rodgers hit Chris Boyd with a 26-yard game winning touchdown as the Commodores rallied for the 27-26 win.

Bo Wallace did throw for a career high 403 yards, just the fourth Rebel QB ever to throw for 400 yards in a single game.  But while Ole Miss was kicking field goals, the ‘Dores were scoring touchdowns…outscoring the Rebels 21-3 in the game’s final 25 minutes.

Vandy is bowl eligible in back to back season for the first time in school history.

Ole Miss still needs one more win against either LSU or Mississippi State in the annual Egg Bowl to get the necessary six wins to go to a bowl game.
