Tigers Rally Falls Short At Marshall

Huntington, WV– Trailing 31-7 at Marshall, the Tigers scored 21 straight points to cut the Thundering Herd’s lead to 31-28 with nine minutes to go in the game.  But the rally would fall short as Marshall’s Rakeem Cato threw his fourth touchdown pass of the game as Marshall beat Memphis for a fifth straight time 38-28.

With the loss, the Tigers fall to 1-8 as they get set to host Tulane next Saturday at the Liberty Bowl.
