Second Highest Voter Turnout In Tennessee History

(Nashville, TN) Close to 1.5 million people cast their ballots during the fourteen day early voting period in Tennessee, the second highest in the state’s history.

Early voting ended Thursday when 134,000 people voted.

Of the 1.5 million votes cast, only 188 provisional ballots were cast as a result of voters appearing without the proper photo ID.

Of the 188, 54 voters have already returned with a valid photo ID in order to ensure their ballots will be counted.

Several TN driver service centers will be open tomorrow at which Free IDs can be obtained.
