(Whiteville, TN) Police have launched a manhunt for Corey Robertson after he reportedly shot his brother in the family home Friday morning.

Police say the brothers were drinking and an argument broke out over a car. Police say Marcus Robertson hit his brother with a long piece of wood, and Corey came back with a gun, shooting Marcus in the face.

“I don't know what really happened but I don't think he would intentionally hurt his brother like that”, said Meek Brown, a relative of both men.

Officers say Corey Robertson has vanished. They've searched Hardeman county with no luck and secured a warrant for his arrest for attempted second degree murder.

“If this was just a conflict between two brothers we'd like to resolve it as peacefully as we can”, said investigator Ben Davis.

Officers say Corey Robertson should be considered armed and dangerous.
