Corrections Officer Sells Drugs in Jail

(Coffee County, TN)  A corrections officer with the Coffee County jail will spend eight years behind bars for selling drugs to inmates.

55-year-old Susan Winters pleaded guilty to the charges.

Investigators say she brought marijuana and cocaine into the jail and sold the drugs to prisoners.

Winters was also charged with trying to bribe a public official.
