(Cordova) The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two people who robbed
the Trustmark Bank near Houston Levee and Macon then left behind what they said was a bomb.

Also, one of the male suspects was dressed as a woman with a long black wig.

He was wearing a gray shirt and dark pants.

Police say he showed a gun, demanded money, left the device and took off in a small, older red car.

The bomb unit quickly arrived and put the device in a blast proof box.

Turned out the device was a dud.

“We did have our bomb tecnicians come out,” said Chip Washington with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.  “We had a robot pick it up and take  it to a safe location to find out one way or another what it was.”

No one was hurt.
