(Forrest City, AR) Residents are still talking about what happened in Forrest City two Fridays ago. A man waits in the shadows for a disabled woman to enter her home, according to police.

They say he shoves her inside and rapes her for more than an hour. Police say somehow she talked him in to letting her get her medicine out of her car.

“He had no problem allowing her to go to the vehicle at this point he thought he had total control over her, that she would come back.” said Chief E.P. Reynolds, of the Forrest City Police Department.

This is the man police say they’re looking for. Edward Walker is on the run.  Chief Reynolds says Walker has a long record and was already wanted for robbing a local grocery store.

He says Walker could be anywhere in the Mid-South right now and people need to know what he looks like.

“This gentleman has a history of violent crime. We want the word out want his face known by the citizens of this community.” said Reynolds.
