ABOUT ORTHOMEMPHIS

In the early 1980′s, OrthoMemphis created the “orthopaedic urgent care clinic” concept in Memphis. Today, OrthoStat® offers orthopaedic services in a manner that provides rapid in-office care for patients’ urgent orthopaedic needs. By staffing OrthoStat® with a full-time orthopaedist, we can offer walk-in service the day of need for urgent, acute cases.

Although appointments aren’t necessary at OrthoStat®, they do allow us to better anticipate your needs before you arrive. You can contact OrthoStat® at 901.261.STAT (7828) between

    • Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m
    • Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m
    • Closed on Most Holidays

We recently initiated an After-Hours Call Back Service for our patients on the weekend. Hours for the Call Back Service are each Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can call OrthoStat® at 901.261.STAT (7828), and a member of our appointment staff will return your call within thirty minutes. In the event of an acute/non-critical injury that you believe can wait to be evaluated the following Monday, call us and be comforted knowing you will be seen on Monday.

In the event of an emergency, we urge you to contact 911 or report to the nearest emergency department. We are happy to see emergency patients at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Memphis and Methodist Hospital – Germantown. You should simply ask the emergency department staff to contact the OrthoMemphis Physician On-Call should they determine you need to be seen by an orthopaedic surgeon.

We accept most major insurance plans but you should be sure your coverage does not require a referral and that we are in-network. We encourage you to verify our schedule for major holidays. We will be closed Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & Friday After Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
