Michele Reese

Reporter

Michele Reese is an Emmy award winning reporter and joined the WREG team in April, 2012.

Michele comes to Memphis from the CBS affiliate in Tyler, TX where she was the 5 pm anchor and investigative reporter.

Before moving to East Texas, Michele was the main anchor for the 6 and 10 o’clock news at KSAN in San Angelo.

Michele won an Emmy for crime reporting and the Texas Association Press Broadcasters honored her work in spot news and feature reporting.

Before landing her first on air position, Michele worked as an assistant political producer for WFAA in Dallas during the 2000 election.

Michele graduated from Southern Methodist University with degrees in Political Science and Journalism.

In her free time she enjoys volunteering with the Junior League and playing with her dog Bella.
