Elise Preston joined the News Channel 3 team in October, 2011.
Elise reports and co-anchors Weekend Daybreak.
Previously, she was a reporter for the CBS affiliate, KFDA in Amarillo, TX.
Before covering wildfires in the Texas panhandle, Elise worked as an assignment editor at WVEC in Norfolk, VA. Elise is a proud alumna of Hampton University in Hampton, VA.
She earned a bachelor of arts degree in broadcast journalism from the Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications.
The Columbus, Ohio native is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
