Candace McCowan

Reporter

Candace joined WREG News Channel 3 in January of 2009. Before coming to Memphis, she worked at WCJL/FOX 28 in Savannah, Georgia.

Her TV journalism career dates back her days at her alma mater, The University of Alabama. While working on a double major in Broadcast News and Political Science, she got some hands on experience at WVUA -7 located right on campus. There she got to do everything from editing, shooting, and her first shot being on camera.

Proud to call Memphis home, Candace grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia just north of Atlanta. That is where her family is and a place she likes to visit often when she is not busy working. She also enjoys hitting the gym and spending time with friends when she is not chasing down news in the Mid-South.
