Adam Hammond

Adam Hammond came to News Channel 3 in August 2011. Before moving to Memphis, Adam was an anchor and reporter for WGXA in Macon, Georgia. During his tenure at WGXA Adam specialized in legal reporting. He also covered many historic events in Central Georgia including the 2008 Mother's Day Tornados and President Barack Obama's visit.

Adam attended Georgia College and graduated with degrees in Political Science and Mass Communication. He also studied European Politics in Nice, France.

In 2009 the Professional Association of Georgia Educators awarded Adam for 'Outstanding Coverage of Education.' Adam enjoys being a journalist because it gives him an opportunity to explore with viewers the world they live in and how we can all make a difference in it.

Adam is a native of Athens, Georgia and enjoys traveling, politics, running, and the Atlanta Braves.
