Glenn Carver

Glenn Carver is the sports director for News Channel 3 and anchors the sports at 6:00 and 10:00 p.m.

He has this philosophy: If you find a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life." Glenn says he s always been a sports fan. Glenn starting doing play-by-play of high school football and basketball games at WQOX-FM radio while attending Kingsbury High. After he moved on to the University of Memphis to work on his degree in broadcast journalism, he began working for News Channel 3 in 1984.

Glenn says he loves all sports, but his favorite is college basketball.

He also grew up a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. While he and his family still follow the Steelers with a passion, he says, "We can't be biased."
