Fire crews investigating house fire in Castalia Heights

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Fire Department is investigating a house fire in the 2200 block of Zanone Avenue.

Fire crews responded to the scene around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

The fire was put out about 20 minutes later.

There were no reported injuries.

The fire department tells WREG the fire was caused by a faulty wall receptacle in the bedroom.

There was $30,000 in structure damage and $10,000 in contents.
