Water pipe bursts at MLGW headquarters

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Light, Gas and Water says a water pipe has burst causing water to flow from their headquarters in Downtown Memphis.

A representative for the company confirmed an underground pipe that is connected to the fire system burst on the east side of the MLGW administration building.

The water has been turned off.

A plumber said a ruptured main caused the pipe to burst.

This is an ongoing investigation.
