Fire damages paper products warehouse in North Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Fire Department responded to a second alarm fire at a warehouse in North Memphis Wednesday morning.

The building — located at 400 Mahannah Avenue — belongs to KTG USA, a manufacturing company that specializes in paper products.

Firefighters saw heavy smoking coming from the one-story building upon arrival.

According to the report, the commercial building did have a working sprinkler system.

The cause of the fire is inconclusive at this time.

So far, no injuries have been reported and it’s unclear how the fire started.
