MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Police are searching for a black Infiniti that was involved in a hit-and-run early Tuesday morning.
According to authorities, a gray Infinity rear-ended a GMC Acadia near the intersection of Knight Arnold Road and Castleman. The drivers got out of the cars to exchange insurance information, and that's when a black Infinity struck 53-year-old Jeffrey Armstrong.
Armstrong was pinned between the two vehicles, then dragged down the street. He died on the scene from his injuries.
Two people were inside that car when it hit the pedestrian. They fled the scene.
The other driver involved in the crash was not injured.
