OXFORD, Miss. — The Oxford School District is holding a public meeting Monday to discuss a proposed bond referendum.

The school district wants to use the money to build a new elementary school.

To convince voters to approve the measure, they’re holding a series of community meetings.

The first one is Monday night at six in the auditorium at Oxford Middle School.

The other meetings will be held May first and June fifth.
