Gordmans files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy

NEBRASKA — The popular retail store Gordmans has officially filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

According to Bloomberg, the documents revealed the company is currently $131 million in debt, and has decided to liquidate its stores and assets.

The company currently has more than 100 stores in 22 states including Mississippi, Arkansas and Tennessee.

It’s unclear when the stores will close.
