South Memphis home destroyed in fire

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A home is completely destroyed after it suddenly caught fire Thursday evening.

It all started near the intersection of Lauderdale and Williams Avenue before 8 p.m.

Pictures from the scene showed the fire was so intense, the structure eventually collapsed, leaving charred remains behind.

So far, no injuries have been reported and it’s unclear what started the blaze.
