Police called to Regional Medical Center following fight

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A large police presence was spotted at the Regional Medical Center in Downtown Memphis on Wednesday.

According to authorities, a group of guests became upset as they were visiting the hospital. When they refused to leave, a security guard was called. WREG was originally told there was some sort of confrontation inside the hospital, at which time police were called.

All patients are safe.

It’s unclear if anyone was taken into custody following the fight.
