His eyes peered into your soul, his frown made your eyes well up with tears and his Christmas costume appealed to your sense of holiday goodwill. Boss was longing to be adopted after spending months at the Atlanta Humane Society.
“Can we get Boss here a few ‘shares’ to help him find a home before the holidays?” AHS asked, and it got more than a few shares — in fact, more than 50,000!
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Boss landed at the shelter after his former family gave him up.
For 280 days, no one had chosen to bring Boss home, but just two days after the photo was posted, AHS announced Boss has been adopted.
According to AHS, Boss met with the family, who has two dogs already, before the adoption was finalized.
