Investigators say a TV caused an early morning fire at ‘Elwoods Shack’

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A popular Memphis restaurant caught fire early Monday morning.

Elwood’s Shack is located at 4523 Summer Avenue.

The restaurant, which did not have a sprinkler system, reportedly received smoke, water and fire damage.

Investigators believe a television in the dining area caused the fire.

While tiny, the restaurant has a huge following.

The cause of the fire is not known.
