CORDOVA, Tenn. — A young adult was rushed to the hospital following a crash in Cordova.

According to officer reports, Brenden Musgrave was heading northbound on Germantown Parkway at a high rate of speed when he left the roadway and crashed head on into a utility pole. The car flipped on its side and continued sliding into the Extended Stay parking lot where it hit two cars.

Musgrave had to be extracted from the vehicle. He was rushed to the Regional Medical Center in non-critical condition.

Authorities said Musgrave has issued a citation for reckless driving and failure to have insurance.

He is scheduled to be in court in January.
