An arrest warrant was issued for Love and he was taken into custody in Dunklin County, Missouri. He was extradited back to Arkansas on December 2,

When asked about the incident, Love reportedly said the three were wrestling and he may have touched the females. He went on to say that if they older girl had bruising it was probably from her going to the bathroom.

Love also said he knew the 11-year-old to be sexually active and she had made advances toward him on previous occasions and on the night in question.
