YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — A Youngstown firefighter was shot and wounded while on the scene of a house fire late Monday night.

As crews were leaving the scene, the firefighter was shot in the leg.

He is expected to be OK.

“I don’t think they were stray bullets. There were a few shots taken, and we have at least two bullet holes in the truck,” said Fire Chief John O’Neill.
