Police say a woman purposely ran over her husband more than once and killed him

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis woman faces murder charges after police say she ran over her husband more than once.

Police were called to Perry, just south of Dunn around 8:34.

Witnesses said a car driven by 58-year-old Annette Bailey hit a man once, then again and drove off on November 18.

The car returned a short time later.

Milton Powell, 52, died Monday.

Annette Bailey was charged with attempted first-degree murder as well as several counts of assault.

Those charged will be upgraded.
