Manhunt underway for man who opened fire on Hyde Park

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have released more information after a woman was shot and killed late Thursday evening.

The shooting happened in the 1300 block of Hyde Park.

Witnesses told police the 40-year-old woman was standing in the street talking to her boyfriend when shots were fired. There were approximately 15 to 20 others also standing  nearby when the incident occurred.

The boyfriend drove the woman to a nearby fire station. From there she was rushed to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

No arrests have been made, police said.
