OKLAHOMA CITY — A man is behind bars after he allegedly bit off a co-worker’s lip and assaulted him in a hotel.

According to KFOR, the victim and the suspect, Ralfael Chubbs, were at the Crown Plaza Hotel for a birthday party when the two got into a fight. When police arrived, they discovered the victim sitting in the lobby, covered in blood. He was missing a good chunk of his upper lip.

However, the attack reportedly didn’t end there. Once the lip was removed, Chubbs began assaulting the man across the face and body, police said.

Police then went to the hotel room where they found a gruesome crime scene. There was “blood splattered on the white comforters on both beds in the room as well as blood on the walls and door frame to the bathroom.” They also discovered a “bloody piece of brown, human flesh lying on the hallway carpet.”

Chubbs was inside the room and appeared to be intoxicated, authorities said. He was arrested and charged with maiming.

Doctors were unable to reattach the man’s lip.
