Shots fired early Saturday morning on Beale

crime scene

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Someone fired shots in the Beale Street area early Saturday morning.

Officers nearby heard eight to 12 shots coming from around Beale Street and Third Street around 4:45 a.m.

When they responded, staff from a club there told them the suspects ran eastbound on Beale then got into an early-2000s-model grey Impala and drove away.

The suspects were a man wearing a red-and-white striped shirt and another in all black.

No one was hurt, and no property was hit by the bullets either, police said.
