Inmate in custody again after walking away from work-release job in Blytheville

BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. — An Arkansas inmate is back in custody after walking away from his work-release job site in Blytheville.

Clinton Forrister, 32, left his job around 8 p.m. Saturday, according to the Arkansas Department of Correction.

Arkansas Police found him in Brookland, Arkansas, around 1:30 p.m. Sunday and took him into custody.

Forrister was convicted of multiple felonies, including first-degree battery, and has a 20-year sentence.

He is assigned to the Mississippi County Work Release Center in Luxora.
