NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Treasury Department is asking for help locating the owners of several military medals that have gone unclaimed over the years.

In May of 2011, the state enacted a law to protect military medals until their owners or their heirs can be located.

Some of the medals currently in their possession include a Purple Heart, several Army Good Conduct Medals, Dog tags, and more.

The medals are all listed here.
