US Marshals arrest man for 2014 murder of UofM student Jarmelle ‘JoJo’ Jones

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The U.S. Marshals have arrested a man in Minnesota for the murder of a man in Memphis.

Jarmelle “JoJo” Jones, a student at the University of Memphis, was killed in a home invasion in the 600 block of Walnut Bend Road.

U.S. Marshals learned suspect Terrance Harris had fled to Minnesota after the crime.

He was wanted for first-degree murder.

Marshals tracked him down and took him into custody.

He is waiting to be extradited to Shelby County.
