HORN LAKE, Miss. — A missing mother from Horn Lake has been found safe.

Carmetta Jones was located Friday night around 9:30 walking down Jamestown towards her mother’s house.

At first, she reported she was assaulted in Memphis, then said she was assaulted after walking away from the car at Walmart.

Eventually, she broke down and told authorities she had reached her breaking point and had to get away.

WREG reported Jones’ family became worried when their loved one seemingly disappeared Wednesday after leaving from a forklift safety training class she was taking.

After the class, she was supposed to pick up her kids from school.

They didn’t hear from her again until the family discovered her on Friday.

Police told our WREG Jones’ car was repossessed Wednesday in a Walmart parking lot.

Friday, police in Horn Lake said they do not believe Jones is in danger.
