MEMPHIS, Tenn -- City Moms Blog have sites in 60 cities across the country, but when Lindsay Ball moved to Memphis, she couldn't find the "Memphis" version.
"I went through about a week of panic and then my husband just kind of woke and said 'you can do that you just start it.'"
A transplant from Austin, Texas, Lindsay says "Memphis Moms Blog" has gotten a great response.
"We connect moms offline and online. Sometimes all you can do online and sometimes all you want is offline."
Their site is a clearing house of resources.
Whether you're a first-time mom, new to the city or a native who's lived here, there is useful information and social opportunities.
"Advice, questions anything people need to ask about the area from where to find a dentist to the schools that people prefer things like that," said Lindsey.

"Facebook is probably our number one way of reaching people, so we have a page Memphis Moms Blog page."
You can also link with the moms on Twitter, Instagram and they have a weekly newsletter.
Since Memphis is so spread out, they have pages with groups in different areas like Arlington, Bartlett, even Fayette county.
