MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A Memphis man has been charged with killing his cousin and wounding another man.

Eric Garner, 38, is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated assault.

Police say Garner shot his cousin, Robert Seymour and another man, at a house on Baltimore Street near Southern Avenue around six Tuesday night.

According to the affidavit, Garner also pointed a gun at other relatives and threatened to shoot them.

Seymour was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Police say the shooting stemmed from an argument between Garner and Seymour.
