MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police need your help to find a suspect in a murder at a motel.

Carlton Snipes, 22, was found shot to death in a bed at the Americas Best Value Inn at 3875 American Way October 6.

Another man was found shot.

Police saw two men on camera leave in a 2003 Dodge Ram truck.

They are looking for the man in the purple t-shirt.

The owner of the truck said his stepson Joshua Winters had been driving the truck at the time.

The man who was shot and survived identified Winters, who later turned himself in to police.

Winters, according to police, turned himself in and admitted he was there, but said the other man was the shooter.

Winters reportedly told police the men were there for a drug sale.

Winters is charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.
