Bald eagle rescued from grill of car

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — Things looked pretty grim for this bald eagle, but it’s alive and well thanks to rescue workers in Clay County, Florida, which is in the region affected by Hurricane Matthew.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office told the story on Facebook of how the eagle flew in front of a car and got stuck in the grill.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office and Clay Fire Rescue worked together to get it out safely.

The brave bird is now at a wildlife sanctuary.
