MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A jewelry store inside Wolfchase Galleria was robbed around 1 p.m. Sunday.

A man armed with a hammer took several watches, police said.

That suspect and two other suspects were driving on I-40 East and then southbound on Highway 385 as multiple law enforcement agencies tried to capture them.

Officers took them into custody on 385 just north of Macon, but they were released without charges the following day.

No shots were fired during the robbery, and no one was injured, police said.

Mall manager Charlie Tarkington issued the following statement:

"The safety and security of our shoppers and employees is always our top priority and we are grateful that there are no injuries to report. This incident is under investigation by the Memphis Police Department and we must refer you to them for further information at this time."
