GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — A Germantown High School student is hoping prayer and positivity can trump violence.

Kevin Gee posted a video from his school of students praying at the school Wednesday morning.

The video included the caption, “Can young people praying at school go viral instead of violence?”

You can hear Gee say “It doesn’t matter if we’re Baptist, it doesn’t matter if we’re Catholic, if we’re COGIC God . As long as we give your name reverence, give your name glory God, we do it all for you.”

Recently, a photo of Melrose High students praying before school got a lot of attention after being posted by Redzone Ministries.

Prayer on public school campuses is allowed as long as it is student initiated.
