Frayser murder suspect now behind bars
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Authorities have made an arrest in a gruesome murder that happened in Frayser.
Deandre Humphries, 22, was charged with first-degree murder in the September 14 shooting death of 32-year-old Antonio Curry.
WREG’s Wayne Carter was told the victim had brought his mother’s car up to the Shell gas station to get gas when a man pulled up and shot him in the head.
He was rushed to the Regional Medical Center where he later died.
The suspect was reportedly seen fleeing the scene in a white Impala.
During the investigation Humphries was developed as a suspect and taken into custody.
