MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The second suspect in the murder of an Olive Branch teen is in custody.

Javaree Mason, 18, was arrested last night in Memphis during a traffic stop.

According to police, 18-year-old Melik Turner, Alexander Mitchell and Javaree Mason were outside a home in the 7900 block of Alexander Crossing Sunday evening when an argument broke out.

A neighbor told WREG she heard gunshots around 11 p.m. and saw two men running back into the woods behind the home.

Turner was shot multiple times.

He was rushed to the Olive Branch hospital where he later died.

Neighbors told WREG's Troy Washington they are breathing a sigh of relief after being on high alert for two days.

"We called and they said someone had done something very terrible, keep the doors shut and alarm on for a while," said neighbor Aaron Lester.

Mitchell, a student at Center Hill High, was taken into custody and given a $1 million bond.

Mason is being held at 201 Poplar as a fugitive of justice.
