MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A fatal shooting that happened Tuesday at Metro Mix was ruled as justifiable, police said Wednesday.

As such, the suspect, the victim’s wife, was released without charge, police said.

Police said the shooting stemmed from a domestic disturbance.

Police said the wife shot her husband, Willard Green, 36, inside the office at Metro Mix off Mill Branch Road shortly after they both arrived about 6 a.m.

Officers said the couple got into an argument that escalated into a physical fight and then a shooting.

The wife was still here when police arrived.

The victim died at Regional Medical Center.
