Duo wanted for stealing cleaning supplies from Family Dollar

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have release surveillance video and pictures from an armed robbery at a local Family Dollar.

The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Summer Avenue.

In the video, the two men walk into the store holding their pants up with one hand.

The suspect in the white shirt is seen reaching for a cart into which the duo placed numerous household cleaning supplies.

As the manager watched, the suspects passed by the register and continued towards the exit without paying.

When he tried to stop them, one of the suspects put his hand in his pocket implying he had a weapon and said, “I’m going to shoot you if you don’t get out of my way!”

Fearing for his life, the manager stepped aside.
