Memphis pastor carjacked at gas station

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis pastor is recovering after he was carjacked at a local gas station.

Ricky Floyd, the pastor of The Pursuit of God Transformation Center, was involved in the incident early Tuesday morning.

According to police, Floyd pulled into the Exxon gas station in the 800 block of Crump to fill up his tires with air.

He left the car running while he got out.

He held on and was dragged to the ground, sustaining some injuries.

The suspect was last seen heading westbound on Crump.

Floyd posted to Facebook that he is okay.

“My body is sore but my spirit is good not made not sad JUST GRATEFUL,” he said.
